UK favourites BICEP have shared their new lead single 'Aura' ahead of their upcoming and long-awaited self titled debut album release.
'Aura' is a complex track, with layered synths building to a peak of swirling euphoria. Demonstrating Bicep's nuanced understanding of electronic dance music and their contemporary approach to house, techno and electro, it's an exciting taste of what is to come with their upcoming album. The duo described it as "a sonic tour of their history touching the cornerstones of underground club culture."
Founded in 2008, Bicep was introduced to the world through their 'feelmybicep' blog and DJ sets. After moving into production, their 2015 EP, Just, was an instant dance floor classic around the world. 'Just' was probably one of the most played tracks across the 2015/16 summer electronic dance music festival season. Last year, this was recognised by the dance music community in their placing in the top ten of the coveted Resident Advisor DJ poll.
