Live Review: Beni 'Another You'

One of our favourite Sydney house aficionado's is back with a club-claiming classic that's sure to be on a dancefloor near you so very soon. And if it's not, please be that person and shout it to the DJ.

BENI is his name and house is what he does best. He knows it like the back of his hand, and moreso than anything, this is reflected in his latest single 'Another You'.

Last year, we had him spin a guest mix for our radio show on FBi Click. We were so stoked on that mix, and rightly so. The producer's making waves locally and internationally, with his brand of infectious house becoming more recognisable and distinct with each release.

'Another You' focuses intently on deep sounds, complimented by a palette of crisp cymbals and thunderous beats. I love how classic his tracks feel; you can tell from the first bar that this is basically an instant classic. It's got all of the right elements there.

Bouncy club beats, progressive vocal samples that don't detract from the main melody, that 80's-esque synth that hammers out the chord progression; you can definitely feel that this is Beni.

He's got a masterful formula that only he knows the recipe to. Let's just wallow in the wake of this one for a little bit.
