The overriding vibe of Too Hot For Killing is that of extreme, violent punk, hardcore and metal, with walls of frenetic sound coming at you in waves, but this is no one-dimensional noise album. There is real songwriting nous going on here, with subtle use of dynamics, a great example being the relatively slow-burning title track which provides some sweet light and shade amid the fury.
Too Hot For Killing is gnarly, nasty, noisy and just plain good.
