Lawrence Leung: Part-Time Detective Agency

"Spoiler alert: don’t sit at the front row."

More Lawrence Leung Lawrence Leung

Leung begins his set with: “Are you ready for the nerdiest show of the comedy festival?” Nerdy he is; the show is also clever. Like Hannah Gadsby (before him) Leung's performance involves the self-deprecating use of Powerpoint.

Most of the show is based on who pranked him at his 21st. Like Sherlock Holmes, Leung unravels who the culprit was. With some laugh-out-loud interviews on Skype and reconstruction of events past, Leung manages to find who done it. He ends with the longest gag in history, finally revealing the punch line to riotous applause. Spoiler alert: don't sit at the front row.
