‘We Can Learn Lessons From The Old Records’: Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard On Songwriting, Legacy & New Music

Joshua Glanc

The show reveals "Glanc’s love of the ridiculous."

In his sold out show at the fittingly quirky Butterfly Club, Josh Glanc switches characters at least half a dozen times and delivers a catchy show full of absurd scenarios.

He’s an expert at accents, with characters like Juan from South America complete with a lisp to the subdued Asian student trying to woo customers into her restaurant. Props woven into the show, like bread ears and a taxidermied cat, reveal Glanc’s love of the ridiculous. While the show loses its punch a couple of times, it’s cleverly concocted and Glanc is certainly one to watch.

Show moves to The Tuxedo Cat from April 9 — 19.
