Album Review: Jeff Rosenstock -- We Cool?

StarStarStarHalf Star

"It’s fast, fun, intelligent pop-punk of the highest order."

More Jeff Rosenstock Jeff Rosenstock

The demise of good-time ska punk DIY heroes Bomb!

The Music Industry hasn’t slowed the prodigious output of singer Jeff Rosenstock. His second solo record, We Cool?, is his fifth since the 2012 split in. Amazingly though, quality doesn’t seem to have fallen prey to that work rate – We Cool? is another upbeat and infectious vehicle for his self-loathing, self-doubt and warped sense of humour. Repurposing the BMTI sound for his solo vehicle, We Cool? sees him continue to improve on his idiosyncratic and distinct style. It’s fast, fun, intelligent pop-punk of the highest order.
