Young and budding Vancouver producer James Brooks who makes music under the name Elite Gymnastics has put out a jazzy little remix of How To Dress Well's incredibly successful single '& It Was U'.

The edit maintains all the really strong soul melodies held in the vocals, but adds in an electronic drum beat backed up with some jammy synths. The track fluxes between a strong and powerful chorus and a more stripped back verse - playing to the original tune's strengths. This is one of the greater things about this remix: sure it does what a lot of remixes do and plays some upbeat time over the top, but not for the sake of it.

It effectively creates a dancier version of the tune, but leaving in the aspects that make the original such an excellent little number. Towards the end of the song, it breaks down into a half beat rhythm, with some sweet piano riffs over the top until it delicately fades away.

This one's definitely worth a good listen. Comment below and let us know what you reckon!
