Hey Rosetta!The fourth album from Canadian outfit Hey Rosetta! is irresistibly likeable. Bordering on the more commercial end of indie-rock, there are hooks galore and production so effortlessly epic as to keep the body swaying from start to finish. The pop sensibilities of the first three tracks could see them sound-tracking a summer advertisement, while later track, Harriet, is a stand-out with its swaggering ‘60s charm, contrasted by the mysterious and beautiful What Arrows and rocky catharsis of Promise and Kid Glove. Album closer, Trish’s Song, slowly weaves a Coldplay-esque spell, set apart by haunting harmonies.
