Continuing his ever-impressive run from strength to strength, Brisbane producer GOLDEN VESSEL has once again outdone himself recently, with the release of his brand new EP, Right/Side, dropping just last week. A diverse and eclectic record that he created with a bunch of his friends, Golden Vessel (aka Max Byrne) is at his best when working with others and his new EP is a true triumph of collaboration, friendship and most importantly, his expert production skills.

Set to embark on a tour soon with the head of the label (Exist. Recordings) on which he released Right/SideTHE KITE STRING TANGLE, as well as also locked into play THIS THAT festival, we'd be lying if we said we could get enough of Golden Vessel's new sounds, so we jumped at the chance to get him on for a short and sweet mix for our show on FBi Radio.

In a recent interview we did with Byrne, he divulged how strongly influenced he was by hip-hop, RnB, and in particular, FRANK OCEAN, and we can see exactly that here in this mix. A combination of his own songs, his friends' songs and songs that directly inspire him, this mix serves as a peak into the mind of Golden Vessel - and an incredibly exciting peak at that. Check out the mix below, or listen live to our radio show, every Saturday from 5-6pm on 94.5FM (if you’re in Sydney), on DAB, and streaming online here.
