Greg FleetThere is no other comedian who could go for nearly 20 minutes without a laugh in a 60 minute (ish) show, but then no other comedian who can get you to laugh so hard at a pretty cheap payoff to relieve the tension of an awesome (but terrifying) story. Genuine in his tone and approach, it does just feel like he's just having a chat with a microphone and not much thought about what will come next, but no 'just having a chat' person could pull it off this well. Or maybe when you've been doing it as long as Fleety, through as much as Fleety, you fucking can. Drugs, threats, rehab and Neighbours, it's all there, wrapped up in the least sleazy 'please keep watching and turning up and buying my shit' appeal ever. It's impossible to nail Greg Fleet, and that's what's so incredible about him.
