On Morning After, Canadian duo dvsn (pronounced "division") take you into a space that feels almost too personal, one that's by turns selfless and self-gratifying. The production is beautiful without being precious. But as sweet as it is, the runtime can be a problem with this kind of music: even Frank Ocean's boldly experimental Blonde felt overdone clocking in at close to an hour. Morning After may not be their breakout, but it stands out more than any other R&B release we've heard from OVO Sound.
