Forensic Nightmares makes no mistake in what it is — straight-up death metal at its grinding horror fuelled best.
Cut Up, born out of the ashes of Sweden’s Vomitory, have pressed a mixture of hardcore blast beats, speed riffs and bellowing death growls with the odd slow-groove metal jam that gives tracks like Remember The Flesh, A Butchery Improved and Order Of The Chainsaw a tidy break from full-pace chugging riffs. Cut Up haven’t reinvented the pentagrammed wheel with Forensic Nightmares, but it will have fans of the genre salivating.
