UKcomic actor Joe Bone delivers every aspect of his spectacular Bane Trilogy of shows with all the force and velocity of a .44 slug to your mug. Backed by guitar musical accompaniment from Ben Roe – who's doing his job so subtly and well it creates an atmosphere while being barely noticeable – Bone takes us on journey through mean noirish streets with underworld identity Bruce Bane and a cast of goons, contorting his face and wrangling his voice distinctively and instantaneously for each. It's a pure joy watching these glorious freaks have conversations with each other, as Bone dips in and out of each character fluidly. The storyline – with the second episode involving Bane's one-time friend who's turned into a monster by radioactive sludge – is tight and peppered with gags. Make sure you catch all three instalments.
