The five members of high energy troupe Backwards Anorak hit the small Trades Hall Music Room stage with a boundless energy that belies their 10.45 start time. Winter Is Coming is fast-paced, fusing an actor training workshop with George RR Martin's world of Westeros from Game Of Thrones – but as with Martin's work itself, the show is full of backstabby B-plots as Vince Milesi establishes himself as the troupe's alpha Khaleesi, by turns squabbling with and canoodling with Michelle Brasier, and abusing the “Imp”, Leo Miles.
