Going to an Aunty Donna show is truly like being stuck in a tornado — but in the best possible way. The Victorian trio are enjoying success and recognition for their fast-paced sketch comedy shows, and deservedly so.
There's loud, cheesy music with brilliant choreographed dancing, miming with perfectly exaggerated facial expressions, outlandish characters like Stepdad Steve, a dodgy clairvoyant and a questionable French waiter, and stories that are taken just that little bit too far. Aunty Donna have a way of making something as familiar as cordial silly and surreal. It's sweaty, it's loud, it's ridiculous and it's loads of fun.
