Zan Rowe's 'Take 5' Returns With Stacked Second Season

In September 2022, Zan Rowe’s long-running, beloved Double J radio show and podcast Take 5 hit our screens for the first time.

The first season of Take 5 With Zan Rowe, which aired on ABC TV and ABC iView, starred a stacked roster of guests, including Australian country music superstar Keith Urban, Missy Higgins, acting legend Guy Pearce and sports presenter Tony Armstrong and American singer, songwriter and pianist Tori Amos.

In 2023, Take 5 With Zan Rowe returns on Tuesday, 10 October, at 8 pm on ABC TV and ABC iView. You can find the complete episode running order below.

This season will find Rowe joined by Oasis legend Noel Gallagher, Scottish-Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes, rising star and Mike Shinoda collaborator G Flip, Logie-nominated actor Mark Coles Smith, and Natalie Imbruglia and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Season two of Take 5 With Zan Rowe expanded to filming locations in London, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Rowe commented in a press release, “The success of Take 5’s first season confirmed what I’ve long believed: songs hold our stories, and no matter who we are, we all have a deep connection to music.

“I’m so proud and happy that Take 5 is returning to prime time with even more incredible epiphanies from the people we love, sharing the songs that made them.”

Previous guests to feature on Rowe’s radio version of Take 5 include Paul McCartney, Jessica Mauboy, Mike D, Shirley Manson, Billy Corgan, Kylie Minogue and Common, just to name a few.
