Thirty Seconds To Mars are returning to Australian shores for the first time in 13 years and have announced Sydney pop-punk band Yours Truly as their support act.
The tour will kick off on Thursday, 12 September, with a sold-out show at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena. It will be followed by shows at Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, on Saturday, 14 September, and Brisbane’s Riverstage on Tuesday, 17 September.
Tickets for Sydney and Brisbane are selling fast, and fans are urged to get in quick for tix at Live Nation’s official website.
For the official world tour announcement last November, lead singer Jared Leto decided to scale New York City’s Empire State Building, spiderman-style. In a statement about the feat, Leto said:
“The building is a testament of all the things that can be done in the world if we put our minds to it, which is largely the inspiration behind our most recent album, It’s The End Of The World, But It’s A Beautiful Day.”
Brothers Jared and Shannon Leto will be showcasing their first Australian performances since Soundwave 2011, timing their Australian tour with the release of their latest album ‘It’s The End Of The World, But It’s A Beautiful Day’ out on September 15th.

As for the opening act, Yours Truly, this is just one of numerous tours taking place this year, alongside their own album tour for sophomore album Toxic, out this Friday - August 16th. Toxic follows the release of Yours Truly’s EP, is this what I look like?, and the announcement they’d signed to UNIFIED Artist Management.
With the release of their debut album, Self Care, which peaked at #19 on the ARIA charts in 2020, the Sydney-based outfit has dominated the pop-punk scene. They play not only to Australian crowds but are also jetting off to Europe after the wrap-up of the Thirty Seconds To Mars tour.
The three-piece took to Instagram, saying it was an honour to support Thirty Seconds To Mars on home soil.
