Melbourne Dance Hub To Reopen As 24 Hour Live Venue

Electronic music hub Xe54 will reopen its doors next month with a 24-hour licence and in a new location after a year-long hiatus.

Relocating to multi-level space The Bottom End at 579 Little Collins St, Melbourne, Xe54 will host a launch party on March 6, with its line-up detailed in the coming days.

Xe54 originally launched in 2017 at 334 City Rd, hosting a number of big local and international names including Flight Facilities, Kevin Saunderson, Green Velvet, CC:Disco!, Pleasurekraft, Cassettes For Kids and more before announcing its closure at the start of last year.

The team behind the relocated Xe54 have said the dance hub will “maintain its focus on high-quality production, with its new home being fitted out with an upgraded sound system and Xe’s signature neon strip lighting”.
