WOMADelaide Festival is giving their punters confidence in light of the Omicron variant, declaring they are "confident" that their massive three-day event in March will go ahead.
The festival recently announced 40 extra artists to the line-up, including the likes of The Cat Empire, Kiwi powerhouse LAB, hip hop legends AB Original, Joseph Tawadros and more.
They'll be performing alongside the likes of Baker Boy, Barkaa, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Floating Points, Courtney Barnett and hundreds more.
In a statement, festival organisers said: "While things aren't quite where we thought they would be this side of Christmas, we remain confident of delivering a festival that is safe, meaningful, and as close to our traditional format as circumstances allow and we continue to work with SA Health to realise events in this 'living with COVID' environment.
"With the cultural industries as fragmented and disrupted as they have been these last 2 years, we keep striving to adapt and respond for the sake of both audiences and artists alike."
