Another solid line up for the Brisbane event's 20th anniversary.

More Wolfmother More Wolfmother

The annual Caxton Street Seafood & Wine Festival will once again see one of Brisbane's most renowned party streets closed down and turned into one hell of a party when it hits this Queen's Birthday weekend. It will be even bigger than usual – which, in itself, is hard to believe is even possible – as it celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2014, and organisers have ensure the line-up is sufficiently mega.

Heading up the bill for 2014 is Aussie rock mainstays Wolfmother, who have been playing their guts out in small venues as they get back into action with some new material and rockabilly legend Slim Jim Phantom (of Stray Cats fame), who gives the line up a little international flavour.

Former Killing Heidi frontlady, current Spicks & Specks regular team captain and burgeoning solo artist Ella Hooper will be there, as will Aussie pop legends Eurogliders – who have reformed for just a handful of shows, by the looks of things – raved about local pop outfit Sheppard, local favourite Tyrone Noonan and the hard touring lads of Pludo.

The show takes place on Sunday 8 June on Caxton Street; there will, of course, be all manner of food and wine to get amongst as well as the great music and there are more bands to be announced soon.
