Original Wiggles' Farewell Tour Announces Australian Finale

The final show for Anthony, Murray, Jeff and Greg will happen in Sydney this December

More The Wiggles The Wiggles Profile

The Wiggles have announced the Australian leg of their farewell tour, which will see the final ever performances of the original line-up of Jeff Fatt, Murray Cook, Greg Page and Anthony Field. Only Field will continue on in the band past this year.

The three departing members announced in May that they planned to quit the band after one final world tour.

Dubbed the 'The Wiggles Celebration Tour of Australia', it will kick off in November in Hobart before wrapping up on Sunday 23 December at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.

In 2013 Anthony will continue on stage as the Blue Wiggle alongside the first ever female Wiggle Emma Watkins, as well as Lachlan Gillespie and Simon Pryce, who will be the Yellow, Purple and Red Wiggles respectively.

The Wiggles have been one of the most successful music groups in Australian history, with over 23 million DVDs and seven million CDs sold since their beginning in 1991. They've resulted in 17 gold, 12 platinum, three double-platinum and ten multi-platinum awards and, alongside repeated world tours, have generated the members a fortune.
