More West Thebarton More West Thebarton

Never an act to do something in half measures, the latest announcement from Adelaide seven-piece West Thebarton Brothel Party is a massive one, as the band shortens their name amid some other exciting changes.

Now known simply as West Thebarton, the SA rockers – who recently wrapped a headline tour in support of instant classic Moving Out – welcome drummer Caitlin Thomas to the band as Hugh Black steps down.

"We grew up, changed shape, moved on,” said singer Reverend Ray.

As they chip away at their debut album with producer Dylan Adams (Sticky Fingers, DMAs), West Thebarton have also signed two new deals, partnering with Fidelity Corporation for management while also joining the X-Ray Touring roster in the UK.

To top it all off, they recently garnered international attention through NPR podcast Wait Wait… Don't’ Tell Me! during a segment where Eddie Izzard was quizzed on King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

You can catch the new line-up at Lansdowne Hotel on July 14. Check out theGuide for more info.
