New Live Music Venue To Open In Brisbane Next Month

The venue will "provide a safe space supporting both the local grass roots scene and the national touring circuit".

Brisbane has scored itself another brand new live music venue which is set to open next month.

Located above above the famous Archive Beer Boutique on Russell Street, West Room will host GA standing shows in its intimate Library room for 150-person capacity shows and the full West Room with a GA standing capacity of 550.

"The West Room will add to the rich musical tapestry of the local area," a statement released this week by the West Room team reads.

"The West Room will  provide a safe space supporting both the local grass roots scene and the national touring circuit. Complimented by an experienced and reputable production team headed up by Ed Gresack and established booking teams from Social State Entertainment and Lithium Agency fielding enquiries.

"Keeping in supporting the local industry a new commercial partnership has been formed with Brisbane based ticketing and box office solution Oztix ensuring a seamless experience for concert and event goers."

The official launch party takes place on 14 November, while bookings throughout the month, as well as December and January, are filling up fast.
