Vance Joy ProfileIt's been a pretty sweet start to the year for local singer-songwriter Vance Joy with the Melburnian appearing on yet another American talk show.
The muso appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! this Wednesday — yesterday Australian time — and performed two of his tracks, Riptide and Mess Is Mine. The latter landed at 13 in the recent Hottest 100, the same countdown Joy, real name James Keogh, was on top of this time last year with Riptide. Check out the performances below:
This is the third American talk show slot for the singer in the last year, having already appeared on Late Night With Seth Meyers and Conan.
Riptide also hit its highest position in the US charts last week since debuting in the Billboard Hot 100 31 weeks ago, landing at 30. It fell one spot to 31 this week.
Joy, who also had two other tracks feature in the latest Hottest 100, First Time and Georgia, is back home soon for a national tour then it's back over to the US for his Taylor Swift support duties.
