Matt CorbyThings get weird in the charming new video from beloved Aussie singer-songwriters Matt Corby and Tash Sultana.
Last month, the duo unleashed collaborative track Talk It Out, and they’ve now unveiled its accompanying clip, produced by Melbourne animator Andrew Onorato who previously worked on Childish Gambino’s Feels Like Summer music video.
"I'm super proud to share a songwriting experience with someone who I hold up so highly, and seeing how we both hate being in front of the camera we decided to make a wicked animation that combines both our styles and backgrounds," shared Sultana of the clip.
Upon the song's release, Corby noted: "I wrote the song during the sessions for Rainbow Valley, but in a different way to the rest of the album. It didn’t feel like it was a fit for the record so I revisited it with Tash recently.
"Tash has a giant musical beast living inside of her, so I knew she could deal with whatever I threw at her. It was amazing to collaborate with someone like that, and have her throw her musical stylings over the song.”
Talk It Out was the most-played tune on triple j last week and has already garnered 2.5 million streams across the globe.
