We know it's impossible to make an omelette without breaking a few eggs and, likewise, it's impossible to make a good video without generating a few blooper reel-worthy, terribly brilliant, brilliantly terrible outtakes along the way.

So it was for the 40-strong army of artists conscripted for triple j's wonderful recent sketch in which breakfast hosts Matt Okine and Alex Dyson attempted to unify their creative visions to create a coherent theme song for the Hottest 100. Starting off with the raw footage of Peking Duk jamming out hard to... total silence, it's all downhill (in the best way) from there, full of bad reads, missed cues, a Hilltop Hood struggling to beatbox, apologies to Steve Aoki… and a five-star cameo from national treasures MARGARET AND DAVID.
