There's a damn fine disturbance in the Force
I get money, I, I get money / I, I get, I get, I get, I get
Norwegian indie-poppers Highasakite made history with their first Australian shows last month, and will be back again soon enough for 2015's St Jerome's Laneway Festival, but a couple months can be a long time between drinks when the surrounding hype is so undeniably high. Fortunately, the band has just released the brand new video for recent cut Darth Vader to keep you satiated.
Despite the intergalactic connotations of the title, Darth Vader's clip is a very human tale of youthful rebellion and recklessness, following a beanie-clad child dripping with more street wisdom in his little finger than most adults we know. As he makes his way through the suburbs, stomping on ketchup packets and stealing people's bikes, the band's ethereal pop track lends the whole thing an air of fleeting innocence, and the sum of its parts is an uplifting, often adorable, cheeky adventure for one little man having a big day out.
Check the clip below.
