You can watch the video for yourself and decide if the rankings of “Jason Derulo” are correct.
Jason Derulo has proven to be a popular choice as the new judge on The Voice Australia, with viewers praising his “honest and valuable feedback”, amongst other compliments.
But, with a star as famous and ubiquitous as Derulo, there’s another reason he gets a lot of attention on social media: because of that bit where Derulo sings his own name.
As this Twitter user said, “i think when someone picks jason derulo on the voice they should only be allowed to say his name if they sing it like he does”.
So, that’s what the cast on this year’s season of Gogglebox Australia did, copying the way Derulo says his own name for a new Instagram video. You can watch the clip for yourself and decide if the rankings of “Jason Derulo” are correct.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the show, Gogglebox Australia – based on the British series – is about random Australians watching TV. However, the more you watch, the more you realise that it’s not actually about television and films, and you get to know the participants and their sense of humour, their lives and relationships with each other and television.

The 2023 season of The Voice Australia marks the return of three judges, Australian Idol royalty Guy Sebastian and Jessica Mauboy and UK pop star Rita Ora, and welcomes Derulo.
“I’ve always loved The Voice, and Australia happens to be one of my favourite places in the world. I can’t wait to hear all the amazing talent down under,” Derulo said in a statement upon the announcement of his joining the show surfaced.
Seven’s Chief Content Officer of entertainment programming, Angus Ross, added in a press release: “The Voice is one of the biggest entertainment brands globally and in Australia, and we are very excited to welcome one of the biggest stars in the world into the Seven family and to The Voice Australia.
“Jason is a sensational addition to our line-up of superstar coaches Jess, Rita and Guy, and we can’t wait to see who they turn their iconic red chairs for this season.”
