Watch Drag Artist Art Simone Impersonate Dom Dolla

In an unexpected collab we didn’t know we needed, drag artist, author and actor Art Simone has shared a brilliant impersonation of Dom Dolla.

Earlier this week, Simone shared a video after someone commented on one of her videos, writing: “why am I only now realising that Art Simone looks like a gay version of Dom Dolla?” Meeting the challenge, Simone covered her short blue hair with a camouflage cap and donned a moustache to resemble the Aussie DJ.

Laughing at the resemblance, Simone completed the look by putting on a pair of dark sunglasses. In the comments, Dom Dolla replied, “ok i’ll write the tunes and you can go on tour when i’m tired 🤝🏼 ☠️”.

Simone has since shared another video. Again, looking like the “gay version of Dom Dolla,” this time, Simone wore clear glasses, as you can see above. She captioned the post, “reporting for duty 🫡 (as long as there’s no macha on the rider cause that stuff tastes like dirt 💚).”

Simone’s impersonations arrive just a few weeks after Dom Dolla and Nathan Nicholson’s track, No Room For A Saint, dropped. The song is from the F1 movie soundtrack, which also stars Doja Cat, Tate McRae, RAYE, Chris Stapleton, Peggy Gou, and many more.

Last month, Dom Dolla announced his first-ever stadium show in Australia. The show also marks his largest-ever concert of his career.

The Grammy Award-nominated DJ, producer, and three-time ARIA Award winner is coming home for an epic celebratory show later this year. Dom Dolla will headline Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Saturday, 20 December. You can find tickets here.

Dom Dolla’s December 2024 national tour sold over 170,000 tickets across four cities, making him the highest-selling individual electronic artist in Australia of all time.

Reviewing the Aussie producer’s show at The Domain in Sydney, The Music’s Jake Fitzpatrick wrote that Dom Dolla gave the audience exactly what they wanted: “a solid mix of house, tech-house, and all-around feel-good energy.”
