Wanna Be In Green Day's 'American Idiot' Musical? Aussie Auditions Open Now

Following last week's news that Green Day's Tony Award-winning broadway musical American Idiot will be making its Australian premiere in Brisbane next year, it has been announced that general auditions for the run are now open. 

Directors are looking to cast strong and authentic performers with outstanding rock/pop/R&B vocals, as well as strong acting and dance technique. 

First round auditions are to be submitted via video and applications close at 11am on Wednesday, 9 November.

Second round call backs will take place in Brisbane and Sydney from 18-20 November, before the final call back commences on 25 or 26 November.

The production hits QPAC from 23 February 2017, with the band touching down in late April for a huge national tour.
