Going from strength to strength
The newly rebranded WAMFest set the benchmark high with an impressive first announcement earlier this month, but it seems they were only warming up, today unleashing more conference speakers, artists and other details surrounding the burgeoning November event.
Locking down a keynote from The Drones’ frontman Gareth Liddiard, triple j talent and other masters of their craft in the first WAMCon announce, the festival has secured another diverse bunch of speakers, with UNIFIED’s Nick Yates, Gemma Pike and more to divulge industry secrets and valuable lessons at State Theatre from Nov 4 – 5.

The live music doesn’t stop there, with the previously announced Friday night showcases (Nov 4) consuming the city and surrounding suburbs and Sunday Best rounding out the festivities, the latter of which will see an exciting partnership with Parlour, meaning punters can host gigs at their house. The announcement comes less than a week after the festival unveiling the return of the Kiss My Camera competition.
