Fresh off a national tour with Dead Letter Circus, Voyager bassist Alex Canion has had gear stolen from his car while parked in the Perth CBD.

While Canion usually plays bass for the progressive metal WA outfit, he was hosting a gig at The Laneway Lounge last night when a Taylor 110ce acoustic guitar was stolen from the back of his car.

“It's in a Taylor tan coloured bag with one of the handles missing and the other severely frayed. This happened maybe half an hour ago now and is likely to be around the North Perth/dogswamp/Mt Lawley area by now if on foot or bicycle,” Canion said, reaching out to Facebook music community The Gas Station.
