Voyager Announce National Tour Dates In Honour Of New Video

The West Australian prog-metal heroes kick off in Adelaide in late May

More Voyager More Voyager

Perth-bred prog-metal luminaries Voyager are continuing the wave of momentum generated by last year's acclaimed full-length, V, with the announcement that they'll be setting out for a run of tour dates all around the country in support of the fresh clip for new single Seasons Of Age.

Starting in the southern capital of Adelaide on Thursday, 21 May, Voyager — with special tour guests and French alt-heavyweights Klone, who have their own album, Here Comes The Sun, due out in April via Bird's Robe Records — will move on to melt faces in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Bunbury, where they finish the run on Saturday, 6 June, at the Prince Of Wales. Additional local supports for each city are yet to be announced.

Given that the band aren't kicking off their tour for a couple of months, however, there's still a little wait invovled until you can see the full video in all its glory, but in the interim you can whet your appetite with this little tour teaser video, freshly uploaded to the band's YouTube account.

Tickets for Voyager's 2015 Australian tour, featuring Klone, will go on sale from 10am AEDT this Monday, 16 March, via Wild Thing Presents, Oztix and the venues.

Meanwhile, if the preview video above isn't enough of a taster for you, perhaps having a gander at the band's full clip for last year's Hyperventilating will give you a better idea of why V landed so resoundingly on so many year-end top-ten lists, and why their forthcoming tour promises to be an event your bones will never forget.

And, if you're curious about Klone, head this way to check out their clip for classic cut Give Up The Rest.
