Melbourne metal band Void Of Vision is saying farewell to their devoted fans today, announcing their final-ever headline tour of Australia.
The What I’ll Leave Behind Tour—named after the band’s latest album, released earlier this year—begins at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday, 14 February, before heading to Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, and wrapping up the tour at Magnet House, Perth, on Saturday, 22 February. You can find all the tour dates below.
After forming in 2013, Void Of Vision established a dedicated fanbase hungry for their explosive, energetic brand of metalcore. Throughout their career, they’ve toured with big names like Slipknot, Parkway Drive, I Prevail, and more. They released four studio albums: 2016’s Children Of Chrome, 2019’s Hyperdaze, last year’s Chronicles (made up of three EPs), and this year’s What I’ll Leave Behind.
Void Of Vision’s latest album was created in the aftermath of vocalist Jack Bergin’s near-death experiences in January 2022 and April 2023. Last April, Bergin revealed that he’d take a break from music for a “short period” after treating a “brain AVM that ruptured”. He subsequently underwent radiosurgery and took some time off for his recovery.
Bergin said of the band’s impending disbandment: “If you told me 15 years ago where our music would take us and where we are now, I straight up wouldn’t believe it. The dream we started straight out of high school was meant to be a product of its time, and I truly believe that it was… today we happily conclude that time has come to a fulfilling end.

“I've learnt to love the process and not the success, how to healthily approach creativity and most importantly, that I just want to be as authentically myself as possible, to be a person, not a persona. This band has provided the experiences, lessons and stories to carry on into our respective futures that we can cherish for life, and for that, I could not be more grateful. With that being said, Void Of Vision will live on forever through everything that each of us carry onwards to do from here on out.”
He continued, “We never meant to leave a legacy behind, but here it is. We’ll see you all for one final tour around the homeland in February to leave on the highest note, the biggest and best that we’ve ever been. Thank you for sharing all of this with us; the pleasure was ours.”
For the tour, Void Of Vision will be joined by special guests Gideon (USA), UnityTX (USA), and Japanese outfit Knosis.
Early Bird pre-sale tickets will be available on Tuesday, 19 November, at 5 pm AEDT. Register here to access those tickets. The general sale opens on Thursday, 21 November, at 11 am local time via the Destroy All Lines website.
