Void Of Vision Release 'Chronicles' Album

Aussie band Void Of Vision have released Chronicles, an album made up of three excellent, distinctive EPs - CHRONICLES I: LUST, CHRONICLES II: HEAVEN and CHRONICLES III: UNDERWORLD. 

The band have also announced a vinyl collaboration with Craig Reynolds' The Downbeat podcast. 

"I was lucky enough to have the spare time on our UK run to stop by Craig’s and talk some absolute nonsense on the podcast," Void Of Vision vocalist Jack Bergin shared. 

"We're so happy to finally unveil this INSANE vinyl variant and reveal the unreal beast that is CHRONIC(les) to the world, the perfect way to see out our Chronicles era. We're stoked you can all finally experience the full release on streaming services in its intended order AND hear it live in full at our intimate upcoming show in Melbourne on Feb 25."

On Saturday, 25 February, Void Of Vision will perform Chronicles in its entirety before joining Polaris on their 10th-anniversary tour and performing at the inaugural Knotfest Australia this March.

"Pendulum is probably one of the biggest influences of HELL HELL HELL, in particular. We drew heavily from the Pendulum remix of Voodoo People by The Prodigy; that was like a template at the start of this project," Bergin said in a Kill Your Stereo interview. 

"Other out-of-the-box influences for this EP were The Presets - can't look past the kings of Australia! Golden Features, too. We were influenced by a few Australian gems," he shares. Listening to CHRONICLES III, the choices are not at all surprising. "On the industrial side of things, we definitely drew a lot of Nine Inch Nails influence and from Trent Reznor's brilliant work."
