Violent Soho ProfileBrisbane garage-grunge favourites Violent Soho have signed to I OH YOU, an imprint of Mushroom, theMusic.com.au can reveal today.
The band will release a 7" single this year with singles due before the BIGSOUND showcase and conference and the summer festival season respectively.
The singles will be called Tinderbox and Neighbour Neighbour.
Today I OH YOU founder Johann Ponniah told theMusic.com.au that his close relationship with the band's manager Nick Yates, of UNFD, had formed the basis of the deal. Ponniah met the band late last year and that has evolved into this deal.
Following on from the 7" release, the band will look towards a full length record next year.
