US Rapper Vic Mensa Released Following Airport Arrest

Rapper Vic Mensa, aka Victor Mensah, has been released from custody following his arrest at a US airport across the weekend.

Earlier this week, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that Mensah had been arrested at Washington Dulles International Airport across the weekend after “illicit narcotics” were found in his baggage.

“During a secondary baggage examination, CBP officers discovered about 41 grams of liquid Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), about 124 grams of Psilocybin capsules, 178 grams of Psilocybin gummies, and six grams of Psilocybin mushrooms concealed inside Mensah’s luggage,” CBP said.

Mensah was then taken into custody and charged with felony narcotics possession.

Mensah was returning from a trip to Africa with Chance The Rapper at the time of his arrest.
