US Company Immortalises Old Concert Tickets By Turning Them Into Doormats

Dig up that old lunchbox of tickets!

Here's a way to make the text on your old concert tickets stop fading away into oblivion!

Dangerous Minds have discovered a Louisiana-based store called Lakeside Photo Works that have been turning music lovers' old ticket stubs into doormats, a way to immortalise those unforgettable gigs you went to from bands who have either broken up, never toured again or simply hold a special place in your heart.

A small 24" x 36" doormat will set you back about USD$34 plus shipping, created using a hi-res scan of your ticket stub. The company also offer larger mats and even mugs with the concert ticket printed on them.

It's an awesome idea for an awesome gift — but at this stage  Lakeside Photo Works aren't shipping to Australia. In any case, this might be a prime opportunity to hit up your Stateside mates for a shipping favour or two.
