Plus: Banks picks up feature album, expect to hear Danny Brown a bunch, and more
Triple j has always been about giving tomorrow's giants an early leg up, and next week's batch of playlist additions isn't looking to buck that trend as a crop of fantastic up-and-comers fill the ranks hitting the airwaves from Monday.
For starters — no surprises here — recently crowned triple j Unearthed High winner Gretta Ray has been added to the mix with her single Unwind, rubbing shoulders with the likes of emergent Brisbane outfit Confidence Man, who join the list for Boyfriend (Repeat), as well as slightly more established, but still relatively nascent, Melbourne band Dumb Punts, whose consistently irreverent energy scores them a spot addition for new cut Space Waster.

International acts claim both of the station's most prominent honours for the week, however, with Banks taking Feature Album for her second full-length The Altar, and beloved UK performer Danny Brown nabbing the Album Packet deal for Atrocity Exhibition, so expect to hear a tonne more of both acts over the next little while. Further additions come for acts including Bloc Party, Hockey Dad, Joyce Manor, The Weeknd, Jaala and more.
