Upchuck Reveal First-Ever Australian Tour Dates

Atlanta punks Upchuck are heading to Australia and New Zealand for the first time in March 2026.

Having opened for the likes of Amyl And The Sniffers and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and with singles that have received praise from punk icons like Iggy Pop and Henry Rollins, it’s been a long time coming for the band to make their Australian debut.

The tour begins at Brisbane’s The Brightside on Wednesday, 4 March. It continues at Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel on Friday, 6 March, and Melbourne’s The Tote on Wednesday, 11 March, before heading to New Zealand. The band will also perform at Auckland’s Double Whammy on Friday, 13 March, and Wellington’s San Fran on Saturday, 14 March.

In addition to their headline tour dates, Upchuck will appear at Victoria’s Golden Plains festival.

For their Australian shows, Upchuck will be joined by a string of impressive local acts, including Blue Diner in Brisbane, Xiao Xiao and secret guests in Sydney, CLAMM in Melbourne, and DARTZ for the New Zealand shows.

Upchuck formed in 2018 with a crew of skaters in their early twenties, comprising vocalist KT, guitarists Mikey Durham and Hoff, bassist Ausar Ward, and vocalist/drummer Chris Salado. They quickly became the stuff of hometown legend with their albums Sense Yourself (2022) and Bite The Hand That Feeds (2023).

Earlier this year, Upchuck released their electrifying third album, I’m Nice Now, the first at their new label home, Domino. Produced and mixed by collaborator and fellow musician Ty Segall, the group evolved their already-raw, urgent punk sound.
