OdetteUniversal Music Publishing Australia has today announced the signing of Sydney artist Odette to a global publishing deal.
The signing comes ahead of the songwriter's debut album, To A Stranger, due out on 6 July via EMI Music Australia.
"Odette is the kind of person that you are instantly drawn to and her songwriting is an extension of that," Vice President/Creative at UMPG Australia and New Zealand, Arwen Hunt, said.
"Lyrically clever and melodically captivating, she is a poet and a storyteller. Her songs put a new spin on classic subjects and we can’t help but hang on every word. It’s an absolute pleasure to have her join the UMPG global family and we couldn’t be happier in making this announcement."

Odette joins a roster that already boasts the likes of Gang Of Youths, Jessica Mauboy, The Veronicas, Alex The Astronaut and Vera Blue.
