Wollongong singer-songwriter Tyne-James Organ is back with a new single, Worth My Time, released today.
This single marks another offering from his upcoming album, The Other Side, produced by ARIA Award-winning Chris Collins and due for release on Friday, 16 May.
The album delves into the push and pull of relationships, both platonic and romantic. Organ explores how these continue to test us in unexpected ways but are always something worth fighting for.
One of the last songs recorded for the forthcoming LP, Worth My Time has a different feel from anything Organ has released before. He shared, “Originally, it had my usual sound, but when Chris added a disco-style drum loop, it took on a whole new vibe.
Worth My Time is accompanied by a one-shot-take music video clip directed by multi-award-winning cinematographer Jack Shepherd, which will be released next week.

The Other Side LP can be seen as a sequel to Organ’s debut album, Necessary Evil, which explored life’s trials, heartbreaks, and delights.
Worth My Time follows on from previous standout singles from The Other Side, with five tracks amassing over 1 million streams combined. One Way Ticket premiered on triple j, leading to Organ landing on the cover of Spotify’s Front Left playlist and playlisted on Breaking Hits and Local Noise. Blue and All On Me collected over 450K streams, topped triple j’s most-played list and earned a spot on Spotify’s Best Of Front Left Playlist for 2024.
In addition to releasing another single, Organ is gearing up for The Other Side national tour, where he’ll be joined by Melbourne-based indie-rock band The Velvet Club, musician and producer from Perth Mitch Santiago, and Jacob Fitzgerald & The Electric City.
