This year's Lollapalooza line-up dropped overnight and of eight headlining acts, two have gone to Australian acts Tame Impala and Flume.

The festival, which is also headlined by the likes Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande, The Strokes, Twenty One Pilots, J Balvin and The Chainsmokers, takes place in Chicago from 1-4 August.

Tame Impala were announced as headliners for this year's Coachella festival back in January, while Flume has just dropped a brand new mixtape, Hi This Is Flume.

The two acts are not the only Aussies announced on the Lollapalooza line-up though, with RÜFÜS DU SOL, Fisher, Dean Lewis (who is currently all over US TV), G Flip and Willaris. K also added to the bill.
