With long-serving triple j drive time host Lindsay ‘The Doctor’ McDougall announcing his departure from the station in October, Veronica Milsom and Lewis Hobba, who you might know from Weekend Breakfast, have been named as a replacement.
On top of hosting their own show at triple j, Veronica & Lewis, as you’ll soon come to know them, have been working on various other ABC programs, writing sketches for Hungry Beast, with Milsom appearing in Mad As Hell, Backseat Driver, The Project and more, and Hobba penning comedy for ABC, Channel 10, The Comedy Channel and appearing on Spicks & Specks, The Chaser.
The announcement also comes with news that host Stu Harvey, who has been hosting Wednesday night's Short.Fast.Loud punk and hardcore show since its debut in 2004, is calling at a day after his 10 Dec broadcast, with Josh Merriel taking control of the show from next year.
McDougall's final drive-slot will be Thursday 11 December, and then he'll be "F***ing off!"
