There's No Splendour This Year, So Let's Relive The Festival's Best Live Music Moments

Consider this a warm-up for 2021.

OK, we know - there is no Splendour In The Grass this year, BUT there is a way you can relive the good times this weekend.

Triple J has announced that next weekend (when the 2020 festival was originally scheduled to take place) it will play a selection of some of the best performances from across the years including Childish Gambino, Gang Of Youths, Florence + The Machine, Lorde and Tame Impala.

The broadcast, from 9am-6pm on 25-26 July, will also feature interviews from past events, as well as artists' and fans' favourite Splendour moments.

The news comes just days after Splendour announced its headliners for 2021, which include Gorillaz, The Strokes and Tyler, The Creator.

Splendour has also revealed limited edition ‘Rather Be At Splendour’ t-shirts, with 100% of profits going directly to the festival’s crew, distributed by Support Act.

“Support Act is delighted to partner with Splendour In The Grass to encourage their regular Splendour crew to access our Crisis Relief Grants,” Support Act CEO Clive Miller said.

“These are available to all crew and music workers who are struggling financially, and who meet our criteria. To apply, or for more information, visit the Get Help page on our website.”
