It's that time of year once again. Who will top the triple j Hottest 100 of 2023?

Save the dates as we inch closer to the end of the year and we rapidly approach music lovers’ Christmas: the triple j Hottest 100.
Today, triple j has shared all the essential dates you need to ensure your favourite ten songs of the year are counted in the annual countdown. Voting in triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2023 opens next Tuesday, 12 December, at 8 am AEDT, with the vote closing on Monday, 22 January, at 5 pm AEDT. Fans can vote for their favourite songs of 2023 via the triple j website.
On Saturday, 27 January, from noon AEDT, triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2023 will air, with the party continuing on Sunday, 28 January, from 10 am AEDT, in which the national youth broadcaster airs the songs that just missed out, counting down from 200 to 101.
The following weekend (Saturday, 3 February), return to Double J from 10 am AEDT to relive the Hottest 100 of 2003. Yep, Double J will be spinning the likes of Jet, Outkast, Missy Higgins, Missy Elliott, and many more.
Triple j’s Hottest 100 chart-topper of 2022 was Flume featuring MAY-A with Say Nothing. Gang Of Youths were predicted to win with in the wake of your leave, but the track landed at #9.
Meanwhile, Hilltop Hoods broke the record for the most entries across Hottest 100 history, grabbing the title previously held between Powderfinger and Foo Fighters at 22 entries each. The Aussie favourites nabbed their 23rd entry after two songs featured on the 2022 countdown.

Perth favourites Spacey Jane also had a fantastic showing, becoming a household name with Hardlight, It's Been A Long Day, and Sitting Up featuring in the top 10.
Earlier this year, triple j launched the station triple j Hottest. As the title suggests, the station only features songs listeners have selected for triple j Hottest 100 countdowns of the past. The triple j Hottest station is available to listen to 24 hours a day online through the triple j or ABC Listen apps.
