Triple J Is Throwing A Free All-ages Concert With Some Aussie Favourites Next Month

We're in.

In support of Ausmusic Month in November, triple j are throwing a massive free concert featuring some of Australia's favourite acts right now.

Taking place at Melbourne's Parliament Steps on Friday 17 November, the-all ages event is to include sets from the likes of Skegss, Tired Lion, Mallrat and Baker Boy, as well as some other special guests and surprises on the night.

The concert will also be recorded for the broadcaster's Live At The Wireless and will air in the following weeks.

Meanwhile, triple j have also confirmed the return of Ausmusic Tshirt Day on 3 November where punters simply need to take a picture of themselves wearing a t-shirt of their favourite Aussie artist and tag it with #AusmusicTshirtDay on social media.

Ausmusic Month also means that triple j will air all-Aussie content across November, including Like A Version covers and Live At The Wireless sets from acts such as Gang Of Youths, Amy Shark and Boo Seeka.

Finally, its annual J Award nominees are set to be announced on Wednesday 1 November, before the winners are revealed from 4pm on Thursday 23 November.
