Triple J Announces First Details For Next Year's Hottest 100 Countdown

Triple J has today announced the first details for next year's Hottest 100.

Voting will open on Tuesday 8 December and close on Monday 18 January, before the official countdown kicks off on Saturday 23 January.

The Hottest 200 will then go ahead the following day.

Tuesday 8 December - Hottest 100 voting opens

Monday 18 January - Hottest 100 voting closes

Saturday 23 January - Hottest 100 countdown commences

Sunday 24 January - Hottest 200 countdown commences

Monday 25 January - Hottest 100 of 2000 on Double J

Friday 29 January: Hottest 100 videos on rage

This past January's Hottest 100 countdown saw US star Billie Eilish take out #1 with Bad Guy marking the first time a solo female act won.

Eilish also became the youngest artist to ever win and had the most entries in the list (five).
