"I can’t tell you how proud and excited I am to start this new role..."
Bryce Mills and Ebony Boadu are set to take over triple j's Breakfast program in 2021.
The news comes just weeks after previous hosts Sally & Erica announced their departure from the station following a year in the role.
Mills currently hosts the station's Weekend Arvos program after joining triple j from community radio in 2018, while Boadu joined the station in 2019 to host Saturday night's House Party show.
“I was in high school when I decided that I wanted to one day host triple j Breakfast," said Mills.
"It was pretty arrogant of me to make that declaration during Maths class with absolutely no idea how I’d get to triple j, but here we are! I can’t tell you how proud and excited I am to start this new role and get to know triple j listeners on an even deeper level.”
"Over the past two years I’ve had the most incredible time spending my Saturday nights DJing and partying with people all over the country!" added Boadu.
"I've been so humbled and grateful for that opportunity alone, but to now be able to wake up with triple j listeners and hang out every single day in my dream workplace is still something I'm trying to fully process.
