The rapper was arrested a mere eight days before his European tour began.

Travis Scott spent a night in jail and has been charged with both trespassing on property and disorderly intoxication after a wild night in Miami on Wednesday (19th June). The incident occurred just days after pop star Justin Timberlake was charged with driving intoxicated.
The ASTROWORLD rapper, charged under his real name, Jacques Bermon Webster II, was arrested early Thursday morning following an altercation on a yacht.
Scott was reported to have been shouting at individuals on the yacht before police showed up at 1 AM to escort him out of the vessel.
The rapper was reported to have been rejecting police instructions to leave the boat, finally choosing to leave with a slew of obscenities shouted at the yacht crowd as he walked backwards to authorities. Scott had been reported to have been drinking and arguing, “It’s Miami.”
Scott returned to the yacht after being escorted away, where he was arrested and faced charges, all acquitted with a $US650 bond ($947).
While little else is known from Scott’s side of the story, the rapper posted to X (formerly Twitter) a few hours after his release. Following the trend of singers tweeting about awful situations, Scott simply stated, “lol.”

Scott’s arrest comes a mere eight days before the start of his Circus Maximus tour hitting Europe. Some are speculating if the altercation was a planned stunt, as ticket sales for Scott’s Circus Maximus tour had previously undergone seriously low numbers for the US leg of the tour.
KSNW Wichita reported that tickets for the US leg of Circus Maximus began to sell for as low as $7, a measly asking price compared to the original $110. Currently, it seems that Scott’s Netherlands shows kicking off the Europe tour are nearly sold out.
